Delhi Mumbai Chennai, Kolkatta - Metro Automation
Nothing beats a ride in an Auto in Mumbai. Ask Media Magnate Rupert Murdoch (Sky, Fox, Star) who bought one and had it shipped to HK for his wife or Bryan Adams or any of the daily commuters who cannot imagine moving about doing anything the would agree. With the latter having the distinction of travelling in his rickshaw on the BANNED route to South Bombay (from Mahim till Colaba) to avoid having to travel by a "boring" Four Wheeler Limo. In Chennai they seem to be the topmost offenders but that's a finding of a Police Drive to ensure better commuting experience amidst the chaos on the street. In Kolkatta, they do not like to go by meter (unlike a Mumbai) warns a travel planning resource. In the Capital, Delhi, they are a big lot. Autos have been black-marketed. The supposed good for a short distance trip mode is by far a ride to remember.
A wheel ahead, two wheels behind and a man in between - living life on three wheels. The Auto Rickshaw Drivers in the Four Major Metropolitan cities of India are by and large, a lot that lives on earnings on a daily basis. Driving alone the whole day, life can really be boring and monotonous beyond belief. Perhaps one in 10 people talk to these guys on an average day.

If you guys have any of your own tales to tell while going on the three wheely ride, do post them on here.
